Visit world famous Fairchild Tropical Garden, one of the world's most pre-eminent tropical palm gardens. The hotel can arrange personally guided tours of this unique attraction. Visit the Miami Seaqarium and watch Lolita the Killer Whale and her trainer "walk on water." Swim with dolphins. Just a 30 minute ride away on colorful Virginia Key. Just 2 short blocks from the Miami Beach Convention Center and the Theater of the Performing Arts, the Richmond is located directly on the beach and Atlantic Ocean, and is only a 5 minute walk to Lincoln Road and a 10 minutes walk to Ocean Drive restaurants and clubs.
Taxis are a 20 minute USD 32 ride from MIA to The Richmond. If you prefer to drive, take Expressway 112 east to Miami Beach (1 USD toll). Exit at Interstate195.Follow direction Miami Beach to Alton Road. Go south on Alton Road to 17th St. Go east on 17th St. to Collins Ave. (A1A). Turn left and go1 block north to The Richmond on the right (ocean) side.
