The Antica Pieve bed and breakfast is a typical tuscan villa, located in Tuscany on the hills of Chianti at half way between Florence and Siena on the famous "Cassia" ancient roman road in Tavarnelle val di Pesa (Florence), in one of the most beautiful Chianti areas. Our B&B is a good alternative to hotels in Florence. You'll visit all Tuscany from the hills of Chianti and in the evening you'll relax yourself sipping a cool drink in our garden near swimming pool (14 X 7 metres). Our bed and breakfast is family run and all our guests are received with friendliness and kindness. We offer 6 rooms for rent all with tuscan furniture. On request we can organize Chianti tours and visits to local wine cellars as well as cookery courses or mind/body relaxation and well being courses. How to reach us We are located between hills of Chianti. Florence is at 25 Km, Siena at 35 Km, San Gimignano at 25 Km, Certaldo at 20 Km, Volterra at Km 40, Castellina in Chianti at Km 16. Auto From Highway A1 exit Firenze Certosa and take the "superstrada Firenze-Siena". Exit Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. At the end of the ramp, turn left. Travel for approximately 4 Km until you enter town. At the beginning of town turn left on Strada della Pieve.There is our Bed and Breakfast. Train From the Firenze S.M.N. Railway Station exit from its rigth side and go to Pulmann Sita station (80 metres from station) to take a pulmann to Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. Journey is 45/50 minutes long. Air From Airport of Florence or Pisa take a train to Firenze S.M.N. Railway Station. From the Firenze S.M.N.
