A small medieval hill town near Siena and Florence, San Gimignano is famous for its architecture and towers and is also known for its white wine. All bedrooms and apartments boast enchanting views of the city’s medieval towers and green landscapes. You can choose to stay in one of 3 different locations: Ponte a Nappo located in the valley at 900 metres outside the city walls, Tortoli Palace in the heart of Cisterna Square and Il Borgo which is found in the wonderful streets of the historic centre. You can find the reception at the main building, Ponte a Nappo, in Via Vecchia 66, and enjoy various hotel facilities such as the swimming pool or fitness centre. |

By Car From the airport of Florence: To reach San Gimignano from the airport of Florence, follow the indications for highway A1 and arrive to the exit of the highway A1 Firenze Nord, from there take the motorway to Rome and exit at Firenze Certosa. Take the supermorway Firenze-Siena and after about 30 km exit at Poggibonsi Nord, at the roundabout follow the indications for San Gimignano. When you arrive in San Gimignano, take direction for Parking N°2 (Montemaggio) that is in front of Porta San Giovanni. When you get there, stop and call us on one of our telephone numbers, we will arrive as soon as possible to bring you to your apartment.In case you don’t have a mobile phone, there is a public telephone at the entrance of the parking. From Pisa Airport To reach San Gimignano from Pisa Airport take the superhighway FI–PI–LI in the direction of Firenze after about 50 km go out at Empli Ovest, from there take the SS 429 the direction of Siena and after 20 Km you will be in Certaldo from there follow the indications for San Gimignano. When you arrive in San Gimignano, take direction for Parking N°2 (Montemaggio) that is in front of Porta San Giovanni.
