Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, a medieval village in Chianti Classico, owned by the Rocca delle Macìe Winery, has been meticulously restored and given a new lease of life as the "Riserva di Fizzano". The restoration succeeded not only in making the most of the existing shells of the buildings, but also in ensuring that the farmhouses offer the guests the highest levels of hospitality so as they can relax in complete comfort.

Room information

Original tiled floors, vaulted wooden ceilings, large fireplaces and ancient mangers are just some of the architectural features which can be found in the apartments of the complex. All of them are decorated with understated elegance, using original materials, and full of rustic charm in keeping with the period from which they date.

Food & beverage

In our Relais there is a delicious restaurant with typical tuscan cooking with à la carte menu. In this Restaurant you could experience the authentic genuine Tuscan cooking, using natural ingredients, our own garden spices, using our wines and our extra virgin olive oil. Following the old Tuscan tradition's recipes you could taste some delightful dishes as the Mezze lune alla zucca gialla (half-moon ravioli with pumpkin and poppy seeds). Of course you could eat the real Florentine steak flavored with Tuscan herbs or the wild boar cooked as the old Tuscan tradition required. Of course every food could be joined with our great wines, that you could also taste and buy in our wine-bar.

The best way to reach us is using the car. We are located at 30 Km from Siena, 45 km from Firenze, at only 6 km from Castellina in Chianti and 7 km from Poggibonsi.
