Each of our classically decorated and freshly-renovated rooms is carefully appointed with crystal lamps, rich, dark wood furniture, high ceilings adorned with brass chandeliers and exceptionally comfortable beds. Many corner rooms at The Lenox offer Boston’s only hotel rooms with wood burning fireplace. Bathrooms feature imported Italian marble throughout in addition to mahogany in the vanities and a bath generously stocked with Aveda toiletries along with an additional telephone. The Lenox is located at the corner of Boylston and Exeter Streets, home to many well-known landmarks including: Trinity Church, the Prudential Center, Newbury Street (with its cafes, restaurants and world-class shops), Copley Place, the Boston Public Library, and the Hynes Convention Center. We are only minutes from: The New England Aquarium, Museum of Fine Arts, Fenway Park and the Public Garden. Just a short walk away, you will discover the charming neighborhoods and sights of Boston: Beacon Hill and its cobblestone streets; the South End with its lively shops, restaurants and historic brownstones; colorful Chinatown; Boston’s own “Little Italy” (The North End); and the Freedom Trail that winds by Faneuil Hall and many of Boston’s most famous historical sites. You may also choose to quickly cross the Charles River to Cambridge - home of Harvard University, bustling Harvard Square with its bookshops and restaurants, M.I.T., and the Museum of Science. Back Bay and Copley Stations are a few blocks from the hotel. To and from Airport: Shuttle: USD 14-16 average per person, one way 30-45 minutes Taxi: USD 25 one way 15-45 minutes (approximate) Subway: USD 2 per person, one way 30-45 minutes Directions by Train: From Back Bay Station: Turn right upon exiting the Main Entrance onto Dartmouth Street. Follow Dartmouth Street through Copley Square to Boylston Street. Turn left on Boylston Street; the hotel is located one block down, just past the Boston Public Library at the corner of Boylston and Exeter streets. From North Station: Take the Green Line to the Copley T-Station. Upon exiting the station, take a right onto Boylston Street and proceed past the Boston Public Library to Exeter Street. The Lenox is located on the corner of Boylston and Exeter streets. From South Station: Take the Red Line to the Park Street Station. Proceed upstairs, one level, and take the Green Line to the Copley T-Station. Upon exiting the station, take a right onto Boylston Street and proceed past the Boston Public Library to Exeter Street. The Lenox is located on the corner of Boylston and Exeter streets. Driving Directions: From 93 N or S: Take the Cambridge/Storrow Drive exit (#26). Follow the signs for Storrow Drive, staying in the middle lane. Follow Storrow Drive for approximately one mile. Exit left at Copley Square/Back Bay. Turn right at light onto Beacon Street. At the fourth light, turn left onto Exeter Street. The Lenox is located four (4) blocks down on the right-hand side at the corner of Exeter Street and Boylston Street. From Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte. 90, traveling East): Exit the Pike at the Prudential/Copley Square exit (#22); follow the ramp signs to the right and Copley Square. Turn left at first set of lights onto Dartmouth Street. At the third set of lights, turn left onto Newbury Street. At the next block, turn left onto Exeter Street. The Lenox is located one (1) block down on the right-hand side at the corner of Exeter Street and Boylston Street. From Logan International Airport and Route 1A: Take the Ted Williams Tunnel into Boston, staying in the right lane. Exit the tunnel onto 93 North. From 93 North, bear right at the first split onto the Cambridge/Storrow Drive Exit (#26); follow the signs for Storrow Drive, staying in the middle lane. Follow Storrow Drive for approximately 1 mile. Exit left at Copley Square/Back Bay. Turn right at the light onto Beacon Street. Follow Beacon Street for four (4) blocks and turn left onto Exeter Street. The Lenox is located four (4) blocks down on the right-hand side at the corner of Exeter Street and Boylston Street. Airport Shuttle: As you exit the terminal, follow signs to the shuttle stand, there are several different shuttle company's parked, confirm with the driver if they will go to The Lenox before boarding – in general the shuttles will say "Boston Hotels" on them.
