A continental or cooked breakfast is available between 06.30 and 08.30 everyday and can be delivered to your room.
Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, the staff will be happy to provide a variety of take-away menus from local restaurants, and you are welcome to have your take-away meals delivered to your room.
Area information
The hotel is conveniently located half way between the Sydney CBD (7 km east) and Homebush, with its Olympic Park, Acer Arena, State Sports Centre and Showground (7 km west).
Buses, leaving from the hotel, and trains (400 metres away) depart frequently to all corners of the city.
Alternatively, you might like to take a brisk stroll to Leichhardt, the 'Little Italy' of Sydney, which is 2 km from the hotel. Home to some of the first espresso coffee bars and Italian restaurants in Sydney, Leichhardt today is a sophisticated modern urban centre with outdoor cafes, stylish pubs and interesting boutiques.
Its main attraction is the Italian Plaza; a modern re-creation of grand piazzas like San Marco in Venice, surrounded by exclusive Italian boutiques, outdoor cafes and award-winning restaurants.
Travel information
By Car:
From Sydney:
- Take Parramatta Road from the city, and continue through Leichhardt and down Taverner's Hill.
- After passing under the railway bridge, you will see the hotel on your left just before the first set of traffic lights.
From Parramatta:
- Join Parramatta Road towards the city before reaching Strathfield.
- As there is a barrier dividing the lanes near the motel, you will need to take a little deviation to reach it.
- Therefore, at Ashfield, turn right at the lights into Liverpool Road (heading towards Ashfield shopping centre).
- Take the first left onto Kensington Road, and then turn left at the T-junction into Dover Street, then left again onto Parramatta Road.
- The hotel is on your left, just before the next set of lights.
From Liverpool:
- Join Liverpool Road (Hume Highway) towards the city before Ashfield.
- As there is a barrier dividing the lanes near the motel, you will need to take a little deviation to reach it.
- Therefore, after Ashfield shopping centre, turn right just before the lights into Kensington Road (except during morning peak hours).
- Turn left at the T-junction into Dover Street, and then left again onto Parramatta Road.
- The hotel is on your left just before the next set of lights.
