The NH hotel chain offers modern accommodation and facilities across 19 countries for leisure and business travellers alike. The NH Atlanta Rotterdam is one of only three buildings that remain of so-called ‘Old Rotterdam’. Built in the 1930s, much of the hotel décor retains an Art Deco feel, including 3 of the 6 conference and banqueting rooms. On the upper floor there is a conference room with a balcony, offering striking views of the city centre. In total, up to 300 people can be accommodated in the conference facilities. Room information
The 215 rooms have en suite facilities and have been refurbished in a variety of styles. Each has its own separate sitting area. An extra bed can be added only in the Superior Room Food & beverage
The Japanese ‘Sakura’ restaurant is situated near the hotel lobby, where meals can be prepared at your table for a unique dining experience. The restaurant is open 12:00 – 23:30 (weekdays) and 16:00 – 00:00 (weekends). The hotel bar, ‘Atlanta’, offers drinks and meals amid ornate, wood-paneled surroundings. Rotterdam World Trade Centre (opposite) Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum (1.7 km) – The main art gallery of Rotterdam. Its collection ranges from medieval European art to modern art. River tours (1.8 km) – Numerous river tours of the city operate via the Nieuwe Maas River, leaving from the river bank before the Erasmus Bridge. Travel information
By train: From Rotterdam Central Station (0.9km) - Take the underground train heading toward ‘Spijkenisse/Slinge’ - Get off at the second stop (‘Beurs’) and exit onto ‘Beursplein’. - Take either tram line 3 (to ‘De Esch’) or 20 (to ‘Lombardijen’) and get off at the stop on ‘Coolsingel’, opposite the ‘Bijenkorf’ department store. By car: From Amsterdam / The Hague / Rotterdam Airport (6 km) - Follow the A13/E19. On the crossroads ‘Kleinpolderplein’, take the exit ring ‘Rotterdam West’ (toward ‘Centrum’). - Head towards ‘Centrum’ until you reach a roundabout with a fountain in the middle (‘Hofplein’). - Take the second exit onto ‘Coolsingel’. - Take the second right and you're in the ‘Aert van Nesstraat’, where the hotel is situated. |
